If you are traveling and require service,
please follow these 6 steps:
Contact the RV Care dealership where you purchased your RV so they can help you find the nearest RV Care location. They can also contact that dealer to let them know to expect you.
If you can’t reach your RV Care dealership, visit our dealers’ page
When you arrive at the dealership, show your RV Care Customer Care Promises card which will identify you as an RV Care customer.
If you don’t have your card, a staff member will either contact the dealership where you purchased your RV
or search for you in ourCustomer Look-Up System, to confirm you are an RV Care customer.
Before beginning any repairs, the dealership will prepare an estimated price and contact your RV Care dealer to confirm if the repair is under any kind of warranty.
The dealership will make every effort to schedule and complete your repair(s) as quickly and efficiently as possible so you can safely complete your trip.
If the dealership is not able to complete everything needed, they will locate any specialty services locally that your vehicle may require to get you back on the road
Suppose there is a cost for the repairs.
In that case, the dealer will try to verify if your RV is still under warranty (with the original manufacturer) or if you purchased an extended service protection plan.
In both these instances, the dealership will manage to collect the repair costs.
If there is no warranty coverage, as the owner, you will be responsible for covering the repair costs.
If repairs can not be completed the same day (due to missing parts or other circumstances), the dealership will to assist you to find local accommodations and transportation.
Close to Home
The RV Care Customer Care Promises for traveling RV Care customers does not apply when visiting an RV Care dealership close to your home if you purchased your RV from another RV Care dealer.
In these situations, you are encouraged to visit the local RV Care dealership to establish a relationship for ongoing service and maintenance of your RV. It is best to do this at a time when you have no pressing deadlines or travel schedules that involve your RV.
If your RV is under a manufacturer’s warranty it will be important to confirm, in advance, if your local dealer will be able to provide the necessary warranty service or if you’ll need to make special arrangements with the dealer where you purchased the RV to access warranty support close to home.
If you have a problem with your RV while traveling…
If you are traveling across the province or across Canada, or in the USA, the RV Care | Route 66 dealerships will treat you as one of their own and follow a similar process to get you back on the road as quickly as possible to safely complete your trip.
Please note that when the RV Care | Route 66 service departments are busy, they will only be able to complete repairs that are necessary for you to safely complete your trip. Non-essential repairs and service work may have to be scheduled for a later date.
This special RV Care | Route 66 service is for urgent technical problems while you are traveling in the RV you purchased from an RV Care | Route 66 dealer. It is not intended for non-essential repairs, and it is not a replacement for the selling dealer’s regular service and warranty obligations.
